Welcome

Welcome to My Life, My Breath!

Living with asthma can be difficult and quite often people with the condition, and the condition itself, are not given the recognition they deserve.

This website has been developed with the help of specialist experts, including doctors, allergists, paediatricians, pulmonologists, respiratory specialists and patient groups who all feel passionately that if you have asthma, you should be aiming to lead a happy life, and be able to take ownership of your condition.

We hope that by visiting My Life, My Breath, you’ll feel more confident living with your asthma.

You and your asthma

We invite you to fill in a self-assessment questionnaire, which has been designed to help you with conversations you may have with your doctor. This, we believe, will have a  positive impact on your overall health and well-being.

The content of this self-assessment questionnaire has been reviewed by medical experts, but it is not designed to offer personalized medical diagnosis or patient-specific treatment advice. It is not intended to replace medical advice from a qualified healthcare provider regarding any questions or concerns you or someone else may have about their health.

Your results will be immediately displayed, and you’ll be able to see pooled results of where you are positioned against others who have also taken the self-assessment questionnaire. To help you have a better conversation with your doctor or other healthcare provider, you can print your results to take with you to your next appointment. You can also complete the self-assessment questionnaire for your child or relative, and please bear in mind that any information you provide will be anonymous. No personal information is collected.
